Written by: Patrizia Borsotto, CREA
In February 2026, the Italian BBioNets partner, CREA, organised two workshops to explore the potential of Bio‑Based Technologies (BBTs) in strengthening agricultural, livestock and forestry value chains in the Aosta Valley and Piedmont regions.
The workshops presented concrete applications for transforming agricultural, agro‑food and forestry residues into high‑value resources, improving environmental sustainability and fostering new circular business models. Participants had the opportunity to discover and test the BBioNets Online Knowledge Platform.
