The topic of this year’s XXII ERDN conference was “Resilient Rural Areas and Sustainable Food Systems: Governance, Policy Frameworks and Structural Challenges.” The aim of the event was to present current research and to discuss the ways to boost the resilience of rural areas and sustainable food systems, especially in relation to governance, policy frameworks and structural challenges. The conference allowed for exchange of experiences of interdisciplinary research from various countries.
Represented by IUNG, BBioNets participated in the discussions and workshop sessions as well as presented two posters: “The Bioeconomy: Between Regulations and Practice — How to Better Support Technologies Based on Bio-Resources” and “The BBioNets Platform and BBTs Assessment Tool: supporting the resilience of rural areas and sustainable food systems in Europe”.
The conference was organised in cooperation with the Public International Business College Mitrovica, Republic of Kosovo and the European Rural Development Network – a platform for cooperation between Polish and European scientific and research institutions in the field of rural development and agriculture.
