On behalf of both CTA and BBioNets, Paula Rosa Álvarez attended the EU CAP Network’s brokerage event ‘Partnering for innovation with impact in agriculture and rural areas’ held in Prague, Czech Republic, on 29-30 April 2025. This key event focused on fostering collaborations for upcoming Horizon Europe Cluster 6 calls and scaling up agricultural and rural innovations within the EIP-AGRI framework. It provided a valuable platform for connecting with the wider European agricultural innovation ecosystem.

BBioNets was featured in the poster session, where a dedicated poster highlighted the project’s objectives and approach. This offered an excellent opportunity to spark meaningful conversations and explore potential synergies with other forward-looking European initiatives addressing key sectoral challenges. Paula reported that the exchange of ideas and exposure to diverse strategies was particularly insightful.
Furthermore, the event proved invaluable for networking, facilitating productive discussions with a diverse mix of stakeholders – from researchers and EIP-AGRI Operational Groups to industry players and advisors. Practical insights were further enhanced by participation in a targeted field visit focused on digital and data technologies, showcasing real-world applications. The dedicated sessions provided CTA’s representative with valuable insights into the forthcoming 2025 Horizon Europe Cluster 6 call topics, particularly regarding digital technologies, sustainable production, new business models, and circular resource management.
