1st FAN meeting in Spain

The representatives of the Spanish Forest and Agriculture Network (FAN) met for the first time on April 10th at Seville, Spain. The 2.5-hour meeting, organised by the project partners Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA) and Tepro Consultores Agrícolas (TEPRO), aimed to assemble the members of the Andalusian network and get them acquainted with the actions to be carried out during the lifespan of BBioNets.

In particular, the Andalusian FAN is composed of 11 entities from the agricultural and forestry sectors, such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Association for Rural Development of Andalusia, IDAF, ASAJA, the Mancera SCA Cooperative, Oleoestepa, AgroQuercíneas, the Agroecosistemas Foundation, Viveros Orero, BIOVEGEN and the Institute of Sustainable Agriculture IAS-CSIC.

During the meeting, 17 participants from the aforementioned entities spent some time analysing the use of bio-based technologies in the management and processing of agricultural and forestry biomass.
