The 1^st meeting of the Polish Forest and Agriculture Network (FAN) took place online on 21^st March 2024. With a total number of 11 participants, comprising of farmers, associations, farm advisors, scientists and policy-makers, the 1-hour inaugural meeting, organised by the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation (IUNG), aimed to present BBioNets and its Polish FAN’s aspirations and possibilities of cooperation among different stakeholders. Each participant had the opportunity to present themselves and understand the benefits of participating in the Polish FAN. A survey on the resources and needs of the agriculture and forestry sectors in Poland was also carried out.
