Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA) and Tepro Consultores Agrícolas brought together three OGs at the first BBioNets Info-Day in Andalusia, held on 15 May 2025, during the Expoliva 2025 International Scientific-Technical and Knowledge Transfer Symposium.
The event, entitled ‘BBioNets: biotechnological solutions at the service of the Andalusian regional bioeconomy’ and organised as part of BBioNets, brought together representatives of the Operational Groups (OGs) BIOREVALEAF (CIDAF and FAECA Granada), BIOLIVA (AZCATEC and ACESUR) and OLEOVALORIZA (San Isidro de Loja Agricultural Cooperative), who presented their advances in the sustainable use of olive by-products.
Nathalie Chavrier, Technical Manager of the Agri-Food Sector at CTA; María Alonso, Innovation Consultant; and María Muñoz, R&D&I Technician at TEPRO, were in charge of opening the Info-Day. During their intervention, they highlighted the role of the EIP-AGRI OGs and the need to promote Bio-Based Technologies (BBTs) in the agricultural and forestry sectors.
In addition, BBioNets’ Spanish (Andalusian) Agricultural and Forestry Network (FAN) was highlighted as a collaborative community that promotes the use of biomass in the Andalusian region, with the participation of 12 public and private entities.

The 22nd International Fair of Olive Oil and Allied Industries, Expoliva 2025, was held from 14 to 17 May 2025 in Jaén, Spain. This event and its scientific and technical symposium brought together thousands of international professionals from the olive oil sector.
